Jadison’s 12th. Birthday! February 2025

February is usually filled with lots of excitement. Valentine’s Day (February 14th), my daughter’s birthday (February 16th), and my birthday (February 22nd). Let me share Jadison’s birthday memories here. ๐Ÿ™‚ <3

**Jadison’s 12th Birthday! – February 16th, 2025**

I can’t believe I have a 12 year old. Time is just going on by. She is growing up so fast and I’m hoping and praying to God that she will grow to be healthy, love to love herself, appreciate her loved ones, live life to the fullest, and learn from her mistakes. As I sit here at my desk writing/typing I am writing freely. That’s usually what I do when I journal. Jadison is growing into a young lady and everything I try to teach her, I just hope she takes it all in and knows that I love her, that WE love her so much.

Her birthday was spent doing what SHE wanted to do. It is always cold and snowing on her birthday. The only options are to be inside. We started her day with breakfast and opening gifts per usual.

She got 2 new hoodies- One not pictured because it wasn’t delivered on time. I really love the saying on the back of this one. Faith Over Fear. I ordered these custom hoodies off an Etsy shop. Both shops are linked here and here. Baby girl is no longer into toys. She is growing into girly stuff. Like jewelry and makeup. A new necklace to match, I thought would be a good idea as a gift. So, I found this cute cross necklace at Target. She has been asking for Air Pods, but unfortunately, I am not going to spend that kind of money on those. Simply because she may lose them. I found these air buds that are similar at Tj Maxx that were on sale for $16! She loved them! She also got A $25 gift card from her grandpa. A $25 target gift card from her friend Addie.

Don’t you just love these early morning faces… ๐Ÿ™‚

She had her last basketball game of the season today! Unfortunately, they lost. They played a tough game with only 5 girls. Although she wasn’t on the same team of girls she played with in 4th grade they did well this season. I still don’t know if Jadison really grasps the game, but she has potential to play and with practice and discipline she really could make something out of it. She does want to try out for basketball next year (7th grade) which I’m pretty excited about. I can’t wait to see how much she grows. I usually like to gift the team the last game of the season. We brought CRUMBL to give to the girls.

After her basketball game. We headed to Slick City- A place with indoor slides and air basketball courts. She did invite two girls to celebrate but only one could go. One ended up getting the Flu (which was TERIBBLE this year). I honestly think inviting two girls to a party is best. I’m avoiding as much drama as possible. It seems as they get older limiting to two girls will be less stressful. ๐Ÿ™‚

Jadison wasn’t into the slides this year. She said last year she hurt her hand and this year she was avoiding it all together. She was only interested in the photo booth. LOL. Pictured below. One was from the year prior, and the other is from this year.

After all the sliding fun, it was time to eat! We all were starving! LOL. We went to PIZZA RANCH. This is a buffet of all kinds of different pizzas PLUS an ARCADE! Kids love going here. They have a buffet of all kinds of pizzas, a salad bar, fried chicken, spaghetti pasta, and sweets too. Kids played in the arcade and picked out their prizes.

Lastly, we ended the day with cake!

Love you baby girl!

with all my love,

Mom
